Inventx is expanding its AI portfolio and, through its “AI Models as a Service” offering, enables its discerning client base of financial and insurance service providers to securely and confidently operate large language models, small language models, and traditional machine learning models on its in-house ix.Cloud platform. With this service, Inventx customers can implement AI use cases involving sensitive data in a fully controllable environment.

With AI Models as a Service, Inventx provides a solution that enables its customers to flexibly select, combine, or replace AI models as needed. Regardless of the developer or use case, open-source models can be deployed quickly and put to productive use. Thanks to the robust infrastructure of ix.Cloud, sensitive data can be used securely for training and automation. Financial and insurance institutions can thus accelerate their AI initiatives without having to build their own GPU infrastructure or move data to public clouds, while benefiting from legal certainty.

ix.Cloud is a cloud platform operated by Inventx and hosted in several of the company’s own Swiss data centers. It meets the highest standards for data protection, data sovereignty, and regulatory requirements, and was specifically designed for use in highly regulated industries. This allows institutions to retain full control over data, infrastructure, and governance at all times and to operate AI models in an environment that guarantees stability, auditability, and Swissness.

Carla Caspar, Product Manager for Data Platform & AI and Head of InventxLab, emphasizes the importance of the new offering for the market’s continued development: «The Model Serving Service provides our customers with a stable and secure interface via the Hosted Model Endpoint, enabling the seamless integration of open-source AI models into existing applications. The platform allows for the flexible exchange of models, their secure application to sensitive company data, and the creation of automated AI workflows. This creates a technological foundation that optimally combines innovation with regulatory requirements.»

Emanuele Diquattro, CEO of Inventx AG, sees the launch as an important step for the industry: «The launch of this offering is an important step for the Swiss financial and insurance industries. We ensure that institutions can leverage state-of-the-art AI technologies, because - especially in highly regulated industries - it is crucial that innovation does not come at the expense of data protection or compliance. Sovereignty and security always remain central - and that is exactly what Inventx stands for.»
