Thomas Zellweger is a professor at the University of St. Gallen and the executive director of the Swiss Institute for SMEs and Entrepreneurship (KMU-HSG). His research on family businesses, corporate governance, strategy, and transformation is among the most frequently cited internationally and is regularly published in leading academic journals. In addition, his work has received numerous awards and is regularly featured in international media outlets such as The Economist, Bloomberg and Forbes. Thomas Zellweger combines his academic excellence with entrepreneurial experience gained from his previous role as marketing director at a fintech startup in Brussels.
