Introducing: The Workplace Rebels

We are the Workplace Rebels—young, dynamic, a little cheeky, and with loads of commitment. Our goal is to make the world of work at Inventx innovative, interactive, and close to our customers. We’re growing fast, constantly evolving, and really excited about new things. Sounds exciting? Then get to know us better in the blog post.

The “Workplace” department takes care of everything modern workplaces need. From concept to operations, we support our customers with ideas, know-how, and service. A few years ago, we were still a single team with around 25 employees. Today, we’re already an entire cluster with three team leads, seven teams, and more than 50 motivated Rebels. What happened? Quite simply: we conquered the market.

With the new Workplace product we achieved our breakthrough with our first customer—and that was also our door opener. From then on, things moved fast: more customers, more demand, more projects. Soon it was clear that our original setup was no longer sufficient and that we had to reorganize.

Together we designed our new organization and are now implementing it. We integrated support staff into DevOps teams and established specific specialist areas. In short: we continuously adapted to demand and the challenges in the market. That’s how the Workplace Rebels came to be. They stand for a strong community that grows and learns together and shapes the future.

We live the community mindset

The Workplace Rebels are not a business unit with a special name, but a community with its own manifesto, clear goals, and even its own logo. We stand for the overarching Inventx values—Swissness, innovation, interaction—and combine these with a healthy dose of humor, courage, and personal responsibility for our actions.

The goals that drive our community:

  1. Networking: bringing together people with similar interests and challenges
  2. Knowledge sharing: learning from one another and solving problems together
  3. Sharing ideas: gaining new perspectives and developing creative solutions
  4. Further development: staying curious and continuously improving
  5. Motivation: supporting each other to achieve goals
  6. Identity: defining and strengthening our role in the Workplace Cluster as Rebels
  7. Social interaction: living cohesion and community
  8. Change: the community is alive and constantly changing, and everyone shares responsibility for that

We are a subculture within the Inventx environment

We Rebels stand for openness, fun, and strong togetherness. We have specific topic channels on Teams where we foster all of this. For example, we have a dedicated channel where we openly address mistakes because we know mistakes are part of learning and help us move forward together. Another channel, in turn, makes room for personal matters and casual exchange. This mix of professionalism and ease is what defines us.

Anyone new to us immediately notices that things work a bit differently here. New Rebels aren’t just introduced to the team—they become part of a community. From a sticker with our logo to a direct line to everyone, to an open culture. With us, you’re in the middle of things from day one, not just on the sidelines. We regularly receive positive feedback for this, and it shows: this welcoming culture resonates because it’s authentic.

We want to enrich the job

We don’t just grow as a team, but also individually. For us, job enrichment is more than a buzzword, because new roles such as Service Owner offer additional responsibility and exciting development paths. If you want, you can deepen your technical expertise, take on responsibility, or move up from the Service Desk into Engineering.

We believe that the best opportunities arise where people are open to new things and eager to look beyond the end of their nose. That’s why we promote internal development just as much as professional specialisation.

We are proud of what we have achieved: doubling the number of employees, strong customer projects, a vibrant community, and a culture that has grown from within. But we are still a long way from our goal. Demand continues to rise, our services are constantly evolving, and we still have many ideas in the pipeline.

That’s why we’re looking for people who are keen to shape something new with us, take on responsibility, and bring a bit of Rebel spirit into the company.

Do you see yourself as a Rebel too? We regularly have exciting positions to fill, and perhaps we’ll be able to welcome you as the newest member of our community soon!
