Technology meets business strategy

The IFZ Insurance Summit 2025 focused entirely on the digital future of the insurance industry. Leading figures from business and academia discussed how artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and modern core systems are transforming the sector. Speakers included Dr. Daniel Kalt (UBS), Fabian Ringwald (SWICA), Claudio Mirti (Microsoft), and Nathalie Meyer (Chubb Switzerland), among others. The day was moderated by Prof. Dr. Florian Schreiber from the Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ). 
 

IT as a business enabler

Inventx was not only on site as a participant, but also contributed substantively to the IFZ Insurance Study 2025. Our contribution highlights how health insurers can transform their often historically grown, monolithically shaped IT landscape to become more flexible, more innovative, and more resilient. At the heart of it are concrete design principles for IT transformation, a forward-looking blueprint for shaping the IT architecture, as well as deep dives into current trends such as software modularization, decoupling, resilience, data orientation, and IT security. 

In view of growing complexity, rising costs, and increasing regulatory requirements, it becomes clear: a modern, decoupled, cloud-ready IT architecture is not a nice-to-have, but a must.
