As Cluster Leader Banking Application Operation you take overall responsibility for multiple operations teams and their services in the banking environment. You lead people, further develop organizations and ensure that our customers benefit from highly available, stable and future-oriented application operations.

What scope do you have to shape things?

  • You lead a cluster of several Banking Application Operation teams in the Finnova Core and DWH environment and are responsible for its strategic and operational development.

  • You develop leaders and employees and create an environment that fosters ownership, collaboration and continuous learning.

  • You bear overall responsibility for the stability, availability, quality, compliance and cost‑effectiveness of the supported banking applications and services.

  • You maintain trusted customer relationships and work closely with customers, service managers, delivery organizations and other stakeholders.

  • You are responsible for the capacity, resource and budget planning of your cluster.

  • You drive the continuous optimization of operational processes, automation solutions and the further development of modern operating models in the cloud and platform environment.

  • You actively shape change processes, support the introduction of new technologies and ensure the successful implementation of new requirements.

  • You take responsibility for escalations in complex operational situations and ensure sustainable solutions.

  • You support the expansion of the service portfolio and ensure that your cluster makes a significant contribution to the implementation of Inventx's corporate strategy.

What do you bring?

  • University degree (FH, HF, university or equivalent) with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable education/training
  • Several years of leadership experience in an IT service, operations, or application operations organization, ideally in the banking or financial services environment
  • Proven experience in leading managers as well as larger organizational units
  • Solid understanding of IT service management, operational processes, and service organizations
  • Experience working with business-critical applications such as core banking and DWH, as well as with stringent requirements for availability, security, and compliance
  • Strong customer orientation and the ability to communicate and advise professionally at management level
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution skills and pragmatism
  • Experience in transformation initiatives and an interest in topics such as cloud, automation, and platform operations
  • High initiative, assertiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
