eventx – adventure, action and genuine encounters

Most workdays are largely made up of projects, meetings, and team lunches in rapid succession. A change of pace in between does you good, so that people can meet regardless of job titles. That’s exactly what eventx is for. The association makes it possible for colleagues to come together whose projects may never cross paths and who therefore never really get to know each other. The focus is on community, fun, and real conversations. Not a mandatory event and without administration – a community that decides for itself which adventures it wants to experience together.

Deciding together – experiencing together 

eventx is organised in a very straightforward way. Anyone who wants to take part pays a symbolic amount, Inventx adds the same contribution on top, and that creates a budget for shared experiences. The board is made up of people from all locations, and all members can submit ideas and vote. Quick inputs sometimes turn into truly big moments. What started small 8 years ago now proudly counts 181 members – from apprentices and long-standing employees to retirees and former colleagues.

Adventures that bring people together 

A look at the annual program shows just how colorful and diverse this community is. Wakeboarding on the lake, ski days in the mountains, Oktoberfest with dirndls and lederhosen, urban surfing, an Aare river float, or sporty challenges. Sometimes full of action, sometimes laid-back—but always designed to share laughs, try something new, and get to know people from a different side. Anyone who’s been once quickly realizes that roles, titles, or hierarchies don’t matter here. At eventx, every voice counts the same—whether you’re in senior management or in your first year of apprenticeship. The community itself decides how the budget is used and which activities take place. That creates trust and a sense of belonging in a vibrant community that determines for itself how it grows together.

More than a club 

Looking back, many moments stand out. A very special one is the 5-year anniversary in Innsbruck—celebrated at the outdoor adventure park Area 47, where even team members with a fear of heights redefined their comfort zones. Experiences like these show how this club thrives: people come together and turn it into something great. This year, too, new adventures await—adventures to become even braver and perhaps end up again somewhere, soaking wet and grinning in the water. 

Because eventx is not simply a chapter in working life. The shared experience has a lasting impact beyond company boundaries. And that may be the most beautiful gift a club can give.
